MAKING A DIFFERENCE

Each year, we're privileged to reach out and work with hundreds of people who are homeless and/or struggling with addictions in communities throughout British Columbia and Canada.

We operate an abstinence based residential recovery program for men age 18 and older.

In addition to working with men in recovery, Psalm 23 also helps needy families in the community and people on the street.
Give | Serve
Our purpose is to train and empower individuals to lead lives that are healthy, wholesome and addiction free. Our vison is not only helping people with addictions “get clean” but also “stay clean” and to bridge them back into the community as productive citizens.

Psalm 23 Transition Society is committed to providing quality programs, dedicated staff and safe, comfortable housing. Upon completion of our program each resident will:
  • Possess a knowledge of the process of chemical addictions and how their addiction has impacted them specifically
  • Possess a knowledge of relapse prevention and how to recognize and respond to relapse in their own recovery
  • Be mentally and emotionally stable
  • Be working or attending school to help them with obtaining employment
  • Have stable housing
  • Have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Belong to a home church
  • Have developed and be committed to a recovery program based on Christian spiritual principles and practices
  • Be medically stable, and have a clear course of action for any medical problems which need further treatment
  • Have upgraded their schooling
  • Be off the welfare system
  • Be integrated back into the community and with their families
  • Belong to a 12 Step Recovery home group

  • Be active within the community
